Why Life Made Simple Physiotherapy?

Health is, by its nature, personal. While most people would prefer not to require the assistance of a physiotherapist, the body often has other plans. Issues like pain, discomfort, and reduced mobility can arise, making physiotherapy a necessity.

The reasons behind the need for physiotherapy are as varied as the symptoms themselves, which is why it is crucial to carefully consider the specific type of treatment required.

You may have been referred to us or contacted us directly. Whichever way you seek help from us, we aim to help meet your physiotherapy requirements.

What do we aim to achieve?

  • Initial consultation

Our initial consultation involves a range of questions about you, your circumstances and conditions. We have a form to complete at the start of our consultation which asks all about you and a link to this can be found here.

This discovery process is aimed at helping us understand your journey to the need for physiotherapy care and can be enlightening as to what may be required.

This process can often take 15-20 minutes to complete.

  • Initial physiotherapy assessment & consultation

Your body may well be indicating where pain and discomfort are located. Often, we find that other parts of the frame and muscle tissue are communicating problems that manifest themselves in the back, neck, shoulders or elsewhere. It might be suggested that this might be reactive care, and you may want to consider proactive care, with the aim and objective of helping avoid future occurrence of any ailments.

For a first consultation following the initial assessment, this part of our programme will last for approximately 30-35 minutes.

  • Follow up physiotherapy consultation

For ongoing physiotherapy care, we would normally recommend sessions last 60 minutes, although alternative options of 30 minutes and 45 minutes are available.

  • Ongoing care

Although we hope that an initial consultation will ease any immediate pain or discomfort, many clients find that they need more than one physiotherapy session to meet their ongoing needs. A care programme can be created over a suitable time period (we often find that a programme of five 60-minute sessions can be clinically beneficial) and we have noted on our Client Engagement Form our special offer for this care package.

  • Summary

We firmly believe that physiotherapy care can be of significant benefit to most people’s overall health and well-being. Life made simple...perhaps!
